Blog not quite dead!
OK, so it's three years since I posted anything! A lot of blogs are like that, unfortunately.
However, in that time I have found cousins in Devon and Tasmania and I now know the name of the fighter pilot who shot down my uncle in 1944.
Against that, I still don't know anything about the German background of Frederick Albert Seume, who, on arriving on these shores on the 12th December 1834, started the UK line of the family.
The search goes on; although I'm still trying to work out why it is so important for so many people to find out about their past.
